Making an effort

Hi. In an effort to blog and share more frequently I've added a little challenge to my creating. I find if I have deadlines to meet I create more. So,,,,, I'm trying to join and participate in online challenge sites. This month I joined  Scrapping Clearly 's Challenge by combining the Moodboard and Sketch. I love the colours. The grey was a challenge but managed to work it in there. Not the best shot of the main page, taken on my phone in a rush, For some reason the pic kept coming up very grey. Me and technology really don't get on most of the time. Got a new phone with an great megapixel taking camera, more than my first little digital camera. But do ya think I can work it out sometimes!!!!

Here's my take on the mood board.

Moments

One of my most favourite moments is 'quiet time' cuddles on the couch with Cadence. A quick photo captured on my phone, she's lost in the show on the t.v, wrapped in a blankie and cuddling her blankie ted from Uncle Liam and Abby. All relaxed and ready for bed.

Papers by - Kaiser Craft and Heidi Swapp(waaaayyyyyyy back ;).
Other products used - Heidi Swapp Color Shine, Kaiser Collectables, white spray paint.

I'm looking forward to this months when I get time to play. Go take a look, my creative friend Rikki does an amazing job on the mood boards. Even better why not play along :) there's still time. You could even try combining both.

Here's this month's Sketch & Mood Board Challenge at Scrapping Clearly

Here's the Mood Board challenge, these colours are divine.
This is Rikki 's Amazing Canvas she created using the mood board colours as inspiration!!!!

This next layout is of my favourite little boys Kyden. Him and Cadence have had a great little friendship since they were very little. They went on a little adventure to the pines. Well,,,, Cadence brought her Dede and Kyden brought his Tutu.
You see, Tutu (my friend Jen) and Dede (me) thought it was a great place for a little photo shoot but the then 3yr olds had different ideas.
Tell you what! I admire all those who do those awesome photo shoots with kids. I was exhausted by the end of it and I'm sure I had pine needles where there shouldn't of been pine needles lol.
Anyway Ky and Cadence had better ideas and got way too busy looking for the fairies who had built there homes in the fallen down trunks of the trees.

It's such a magical age.
We're very lucky to live close to this place and every time either of the kids pass it,  its the Fairy Forrest to them :)

I'm determined to get lots of these photos scrapped, here's one of them.
Papers by - Bo Bunny
Other products used - Jo Sonja paint, Tim Holtz film strip.

I found the cutest lil' fairy poem, but I had to add a little line to it. Hope the author doesn't mind.

I've had this one for a little while but just needed something to finish it off. The Sense of Wonder quote was perfect for this photo. A photo taken of Cadence when we were on a beach in Lanclin.

Papers by - Maja Design, Prima, Bazzill Card
Other products used - lace, muslin, braid, paper doily, paint.
