Monkey Business

A little bit of Monkey Business on these pages of Vintage Artistry Mango. The main page being Vintage Artistry Mango - Orange  with hints of Vintage Artistry Mango - Saffron Notes, Ginger Peach and even Vintage Artistry Teal - Whisper, peeking through.
I knew exactly what papers I was going to use once I seen pictures.
Hopefully this cute photos of my granddaughter will add a smile to you face today. Once I chose the papers to create the layout I chose the Vintage Artistry Essentials Whitewash Chipboard frames and trimmed my photos to fit inside. The main photo took up all of the frame and for the two smaller ones I matted my photos on the Saffron Notes paper, followed by the Vintage Artistry Teal - Whisper paper. I then matted the framed photos onto Vintage Artistry Saffron Notes leaving a 5cm trim all around but tore a wider trim at the bottom of each. I then played with placement and once happy tucked Vintage Artistry Essential File Frames - Square behind the photos. I tucked lace and strips of the bottom of the papers here and there. The strip with the barcode at the bottom of each of the 49 and market papers can come in very handy as a trim on you pages. The opposite side always has a pattern or words strips to use so check it out before you throw it away 😊 I embossed  a tab from the File Frames and sanded it to distress it before sticking down. To finish off I added the little posy of Royal Spray - Sunshine Paper Flowers, a chipboard trim from the Whitewashed Frames and some Jute. I then added Vintage Artistry Teal and Mango Rub on Transfers here and there.

Remember Today - Tag Booklet

Hi there I'm here again with with a little tag book made from the NEW Vintage Artistry Naturlaist 12x12 Collection. I used the Naturalist Journal card paper. There's about ten tags on the page so that makes ten pages in the booklet. I joined each page using strips of the Naturalist Tattered Wings paper or by scoring a thin fold on some of the tags to glue to each other to form fold out pages.

I decorated the pages here and there with pieces from the Vintage Artistry Mango Ephemera Stack, rub-on Transfers from Vintage Artistry Hike More and the Mango and Teal. Then some photos to tell the story.

I made a little see-through page in the middle of the booklet showing what looks like pressed butterflies(Butterflies form the Vintage Artistry Essentials In the Leaves Foliage) using two pieces of acetate attached to the back of a Vintage Artistry Essentials File Frame. I then sandwiched the butterflies between the two and stuck them together using double sided tape.

Once I had finished decorating the inside I cut strips of Lacy Trim in cream and some 5ply Jute cording to make a tie for the booklet using hot glue to stick  it to the back and across the front. The NEW Rustic Bouquet Cranberry and Marigold flowers match perfectly with the papers and I'm in love with the NEW leaves that come with these packs too. They were also hot glued in place with some Vintage Artistry In the Leaves Foliage, a butterfly of two, some tags and decorative pin finishes off the front.
