Destination - Ireland

I got to play with some more NEW product from 49 and Market. Using the 4x6 size Foundations Waterfall Enclosure in kraft. These are ideal to use as a small mini album or you can add them into the Foundation Albums or Binders for that extra surprise.

I decided to make mine into a little reminder of a holiday I took with my sister back to the country where we were born, Ireland. We actually hadn't been back together since our parents emigrated to Australia over 40yrs prior. As kids our family had a special place on the west of Ireland that all of the family on my Dad's side holidayed each year until we moved to Australia. Inishmaine in Co Mayo holds a special part of us all in our hearts, so it was one of the places we took a road trip to while there. We always called it 'Abbey' and have such happy memories of the days spent there. I added photos taken on the day and some old ones that added to the memories. I started with the front cover.  I played with the awesome new  sheet  of Vintage Artistry Anywhere washi tape to cover one side of the front and a couple of pages inside. I thought it may have been a little tricky at first but ended up gliding on quite easily and I loved the finish. I added some Vintage Artistry Anywhere Rub-On Transfers over the washi. I also used transfers on the other side of the front.

I used various pieces of the new Vintage Artistry Anywhere - 12x12 Collection Pack and the Vintage Artistry Anywhere 6x8 Collection pack to cover the pages, some half the page and others the full page. I also left some of the pages the original colour and rubbed some Vintage Artistry Anywhere Rub-On Transfers over them. In fact I loved these transfers so much I actually nearly used the whole packet in this little album.

Once I printed my photos I realized I wanted to use more of them than planned, plus I didn't want to cover up some of the paper patterns so I made some extra pages. (See below on how to. The Album allows for extra lumpy, bumpy, mine may be a little full but I was having so much fun creating it. It still came together and tied easily, so I'm all good 😆

I trimmed and cut some of the 4x6 photos to fit the pages instead of just scoring them as they sat better.

I love to have little extra tabs sticking from albums like these. The new Vintage Artistry Essentials - 3x4 File Frame Set is perfect to sit over and frame some of the photos with the tabs sticking out of top and sides of the pages. I popped rub-ons on the tabs for extra colour. I also used tickets from the Vintage Artistry Anywhere Ephemera Bits and hearts, signs, tickets and more from the Vintage Artistry Anywhere - 6x8 Collection pack, laser cut pieces. (OMGosh,,, I love love love these sheets)

I love the new metal hardware. The Vintage Artistry Essentials - Word and Shaped Clips.
Once I had the photos in I just played away! I used lots and lots of bits from the fantastic Vintage Artistry Anywhere range. The laser cut pieces in the range are so good and long with the ephemera bits, chipboard stickers, Wishing Bubbles and trinkets etc it really made the album come together.
You can see the very first video I've ever made, so be kind 😆 it gives you a bit more of an idea of what's inside the album on the 49 and Market Youtube channel HERE

Rivah's Album

I'm so excited to share some of 49 and Market's newest products with you all. I love creating albums, especially if it's for a very special person, of a very special person in their lives. Check out the new Foundation Essentials Binder in Sage. It holds 6x8 pages and comes complete with page protectors in different styles. Three chipboard tab divider pages that match the binder, assorted flip pages in kraft and even a little zip pouch for extra ephemera or bits and bobs.

I've created this one for my best friend for photos and memories of her granddaughter Rivah. I chose to cover the inside covers of the binder to match the theme of the album. I wanted it to have a flow about it so I used papers from Vintage Artistry Blush 12x12 Collection along with Vintage Artistry Collectors Edition Vol 1, both in the 12x12 papers and the 6x8 papers,,,, yes 6x8!! Which are perfect for the sleeves in the binder.

I cut papers to size to fill the blank sleeves and created a cover page on one of the kraft pages included in the pack, using tags frames and the flower spray from the laser cut sheet in the Blush 12x12 Collection pack. Then a couple of mini layouts on one of the kraft flip pages, also included in the binder. Just to start off the album for her granddaughter Rivah. She can add photos, embellishments and lots more herself. I added finishing touches like laser cut beads and sequence. Rub-on words, quotes, hearts, beads and sequence. Tied some ribbon and ricrac to the awesome new Vintage Artistry Essentials Metal clip and the cutes little wire word and Envelope in Rose Gold from the Vintage Artistry Essentials Word clips. I also added lots of wishing Bubbles and Baubles from the Blush set.

I finished off by adding rub-ons to the divider pieces and her name in rose gold cut on the Cricut Maker.

The Vintage Artistry Blush/Sage Rub-On Transfers glided on each surface like butter and personalized the binder beautifully.

I used the 49 and Market sketch for February as inspiration for this little layout. They are so much fun to do and play along with. Sometimes the mojo just doesn't want to cooperate and having a go at a sketch helps give it a little kick for me. If you want to play along visit the 49 and Market Fans Facebook page HERE

The Vintage Artistry Essentials Metal clips add the finishing touches to your creation. They come in Rose Gold and Greige.
