Selfie

Cadence is a little creative soul and has had the opportunity to play with mine and her Uncle's camera from a very young age (under supervision of course). She's nearly 9 yrs old and I've recently let her use my camera all on her own. While going through photos on my camera I came across these little gems. I love how her creative brain works and how she's captured these selfies while looking in the mirror.
She had on quite a bright jacket so I needed a paper to match. I chose paper from 49 and Market Bold & Beautiful range, with it pops of pink I thought it went perfectly. I had only limited supply and wanted to do a double page layout for her album so it was a matter of mixing and matching, trimming and balancing between the two pages.
I started with a base of white card stock. I saved every little strip I trimmed off just in case I needed it. It all worked out in the end and came together with the added trim of the new Vintage Artistry - Butter 12x12 pack. So a blend of old and new!

Sunshine

I got to add a little sunshine to my page for this weeks blog post. Using the new Vintage Artistry - Butter range from 49 and Market and the other bit of sunshine is the pictures of my granddaughter,,, yes again,,,, yes I'm obsessed and yes,,, I know it. LOL. She's getting some love from our Therapy Dog, Joy.
The 12x12 collection contains nearly everything in it to create this page and that's just one thing I love about the collections from 49 and Market. One collection pack gives you so much product to create so many pages. One of these days I'm going to challenge myself and see how many pages I can get from using one pack and only adding white cardstock!! And maybe a little chippy ;0)
To create this page I added washi tape, flowers, the 'Memories' word stamp, all from 49 and Market and I then added a couple of chipboard pieces.

Love the little words from  Gabi's Word Stamp Set I stamped them up in Sepia and one of the tags from the  Vintage Artistry Ephemera pack

Where Does the Time Go

Just a little bit of Lilac for your. I love this piece of paper from the new Vintage Artistry  Lilac range called Ingenue . I've only used the one piece of paper and set the photo off to the side so you can see the dainty little print and how pretty it is. The Lilac Mini Collection has the most perfect die cut sheets inside full of lilac goodies. Along with the doilies from the Vintage Artistry Lilac Ephemera Stack it made all the purple on the page pop. You can check it and lots more inspiration on the 49 and Market blog Here

This beautiful image was rare quiet moment captured of my granddaughter Cadence who will be 9yrs old soon.

I sanded the edge of the doily just a little to emphasis it a little more.

The washi tape is to die for.

I used it to decorate the bottom of the chipboard clock, below is how I did it.

Don't let those little thin waste bits left behind when you peel the strip off.

Once your happy with placement, sand off excess and sand all the edges of the chipboard to give that distressed look to the chippy.

You are Beautiful

Back again with another design team layout for 49 and Market. Teal is one of my most favourite colours and when I see the full collection of Vintage Artistry Colour - Sky and the teal on the embellishments  sheet I did a little happy. I matched it up with lace, Jute and  flowers from the beautiful collection 49 and Market has.

I love how so much thought goes into the designing of their product. You can't quite see it but I even used some card from their packaging, just because I love the print on it. Take note when your cutting the barcode from the 12x12 paper. I found that useful too. The text in the little index tabs on the the right side of the layout is actually from the the barcode strip.

There's even tiny seed beads on the embellishment sheet to place as if scattered on your layout.
