Destination - Amazing

Hi Audrey here once again with another layout featuring photos from my son and his wife's Burning Man adventure earlier this year.

Vintage Artistry Everywhere is perfect for the tones and theme of this layout and I had so much fun putting it together.

I matted the photo on a thin border of black to make the photo pop just a little as she was wearing black and the Art work also had black highlights on it. I then mounted the whole lot onto orange. The Orange tones in the papers really brought the skin tones of Juliette, the people in the group photo and the lips and hair on the Art work out.

To the right of the photo I used two of the tapes from the Vintage Artistry Everywhere - Fabric Tape Assortment as background patterns. Highlighted one of them with Vintage Artistry Everywhere - Filmstrip Frames but then placed some chipboard hearts in each frame from the  Vintage Artistry Everywhere - Chipboard Words.

I layered filmstrips and ephemera behind the photo and the main paper the photo was mounted on. The group photo was framed using another Filmstrip frame and placed inside one of the envelopes from  Vintage Artistry Everywhere - File Essentials, then decorated with words, washi stickers, chipboard shapes and words. I previously dyed some Lacey Trim for a project and it worked out perfect for this one, so I tucked it here and there.

To finish off I added a title using the chipboard words.

Burning Man 2023

Hi Audrey here once again to share a layout created predominantly with Vintage Artistry Everywhere, the base paper used is from Colour Swatch Inkwell - Paper 4. When 49 and Market create new collections you find you can match pieces from previous or current collections.

Once I had decided on my base I cut down the Vintage Artistry Everywhere - Mapping the World paper so that the blue of the base framed it. This paper has an awesome x cross x design on one side and I really wanted to incorporate it on the main layout so I ripped a section off the the bottom on turn it so you can see the cross pattern at the bottom of the page.

It just so happened I could pin point the location where the photo was taken on the Mapping the World paper using one of the Geo frames from the Vintage Artistry Everywhere - Chipboard Set. The photo is one of many awesome photos of my son and his wife at Burning Man 2023. I matted the photo on a blue from the Vintage Artistry Everywhere - 6x8 Collection Pack, then mounted that on a collection of other 6x8 papers. I tucked Vintage Artistry Everywhere,  - Chipboard Map Frames, Acetate Filmstrips, Laser Cut Elements and Ephemera Bits behind and around the photo. There is also Colour Swatch Inkwell - Ticket Essentials tucked in there. I added a touch of pink to the layout with 6x8 paper and photo corners from the ephemera pack.

The finely laser cut bike was mounted to the left of the photo with a bookplate from the pack also.

To finish off rub ons from  Vintage Artistry Everywhere - 6x8 Rub-on Transfer Set here and there, some Vintage Artistry Everywhere - Wishing Bubbles & Baubles and a quote from the Colour Swatch Inkwell - Collage Sheets was a perfect touch.

Gorgeous George

Hi there Audrey here once again with a layout showcasing Colour Swatch Inkwell.

Meet Gorgeous George. Our beautiful ragdoll cat. How could I not use an untouched, not edited at all, photo of him and his blue eyes!.! Inkwell was absolutely the perfect papers for this photo.

I used the Colour Swatch Inkwell - Paper 2, from the Inkwell 12x12 collection Paper Pack as my base and main paper. I ultimately wanted to showcase this beautiful piece of paper. So the layout if quite simple and the photo set to the right a little on the page. I cut rectangular piece of Colour Swatch Inkwell - Paper 4, bigger than the photo itself, ripped the bottom edge and stuck it down floral pattern up, applying tape to the centre back of the paper so that I can tuck some bits and bobs behind it {I do this each time I stick down lager bits of paper and photos}. I then cut another of the same paper, ripped the bottom off it, embossed and sanded the dark blue side.

I used foam tape to the centre back of the photo, for height and stuck it to the far left of the embossed blue paper. I then played around, tucking and placing lots of laser cuts pieces from the Colour Swatch Inkwell laser Cut Elements pack. I added some rub on transfers from Colour Swatch Inkwell - 6x8 Rub-on Transfer Set over the tabs on the left of the photo. I also added some to the tab below the photo to.
To finish off I added George's name and the date to one of the little journaling cards from the Colour Swatch Inkwell - Envelope Bits.
