Always & Forever - Brag Book

Hi there again. You may have seen the album I did a few weeks ago for a friend. This little brag book is an addition to it. The 49 and Market Foundations Waterfall Enclosure can adhere to a divider in the album but of course can make a gorgeous little album just by themselves.

 You can see more HERE

I chose the white 4x6 enclosure. I decorated the front with Vintage Artistry Blush/Sage rub-on Transfers, one of the pink doilies from the Vintage Artistry Blush Ephemera Stack, some lase cut beads and sequence. The pages inside are a combination of various collections by 49 and Market and once again I am in awe of how nearly all of the collections can be used to compliment each other. Unfortunately some of the product I've used has now been retired but hopefully what I've created will inspire you to try your own little booklet using any of the 49 and Market collections. Or maybe you have the product at home and are inspired to put it to work.

To start the album off I covered all the inside of the enclosure, using various papers from Vintage Artistry Collectors Edition Vol 1 6x8 . The great thing about creating mini albums is you can use the smallest of offcuts as trims. I cropped and trimmed what photos I wanted to use and worked out where and on what page I wanted them. I used a small amount of tape or mounting foam on the back center of each photo and stuck them in place. By only using some adhesive on the Centre back I was able to go back and tuck and layer any paper, frames, tags, tickets, leaves, flowers etc behind the photos. You can always go back and add more adhesive if needed. I do suggest this, especially if it's a gift or  going to be flicked through often.

I played with placement of flowers, leaves, trims and of course the awesome laser cuts and once happy stuck it all in place. I added word strips, rub-on transfers, sequence and tiny bead laser cuts, beautiful Wishing Bubbles and Baubles - Blush, here and there, even over photos. The I just played until I was happy with the outcome. Tucking extra bits of beautiful 49 and Market product where it was needed until I felt it was finished.

The Vintage Artistry Essentials - shaped Clips - Rose Gold add that special bit of bling to any project.

Perfection

Hi There.
How perfect are the NEW Vintage Artistry Beached papers for these memorable photos from our holiday earlier this year, even the sky matches them. It's a fairly simple layout as I didn't want to take away from the photos themselves but I also wanted to showcase the beautiful laser cuts from the Beach 6x8 Collection. I'm a bit obsessed with the seagulls!! Both in laser cuts and the NEW Vintage Artistry Beached Rub-On Transfers.
Once I had matted my photos on white card and added some mounting tape behind the photo for height, I played with placement of elements around the page. My usual way to scrap is to adhere the photos but only a small amount of adhesive in the center back. That way I can tuck paper, tags, tickets frames etc, behind. I can go back when finished and add more adhesive if I feel need be. All of the laser cuts bar the fish are from the Beached 6x8 Collection and as usual I love, love, love them.
I added rub on Transfers from a few different collections to finish off the layout.

New Shoes

I was lucky enough to get a weekend away with some special creative friends recently. A weekend of creating, eating, laughing and sharing. Such a precious time spent with some very special friends and I always leave these weekends with my soul revived.
This is one of the layouts I managed to finish. I had so much fun using the NEW Vintage Artistry Hike More range. Such beautiful earthy tones to the paper with an outdoor theme but certainly not limited to scrapping or creating a hiking theme or camping photos. The little laser cuts in the 6x8 Collection Pack of the Hike More range are amazing! There's a touch of whimsey amongst the collection and I love the little creatures. Paired with the Hike More Rub-On Transfers, Stitched Frames and some laser cuts from Vintage Artistry Essentials Collection I layered and played with the elements until I was happy. Can you spot those little creatures dotted around my page.

You can find these awesome little  Gnomes  on the Dusty Attic website HERE
