Now did that title get you thinking ;) No I'm not off to get new breasts, I've been playing with silicon moulds.

I had the pleasure of being the Guest Designer this month for a lovely little Etsy shop called Moulds by Mel . Now it also happens that Mel is a friend, a beautiful friend, a creative friend with a heart of gold.
I’m not about to rave about these moulds because Mel is my friend I genuinely loved working with these. The silicon mould itself is soft and pliable and the resin, which you'll find HERE ,is the best thing I've used in moulds to date.
I'll be honest, I was both excited and hesitant when I got my package to get started. The resin scared me a bit, but I shouldn't of worried, it was all so easy to use.

With Easter not far away, how could I not use the Bunny Cameo for an Easter project.

This one was a little challenging, but I do like a challenge and it was probably my favourite of all the pieces. It was a little gift for Mel to help promote her business.









I absolutley loved palying with these moulds. I've made a supply of them so that if I need one it's ready to go. I've also got some projects I started with them that I hope to share in the future.

Got to Love Baby Bunny Kisses

It’s nearly Easter time and Dusty Attic has a treasure trove or goodies you can use to create the perfect piece.

Hopefully this will inspire you to scrap your Easter shots.
Easter makes me think of soft colours, spring colours. Living in Australia our Easter is in autumn, we still get soft colour tones, as a lot of the vegetation is greening up again after a long hot summer and we also have the beautiful changing colours of deciduas plants.

I’m still trying to use as much of my stash as I can and I'm actually discovering little treasures I forgot I had. Those of you that have been scrapping for a while might just recognise some things, let me know if you do. ;)

Shh,,, I'm Sleepig

I had such fun doing this project right down to the excess use of bling. I struggled the whole day just about, thinking ‘ok, what do I do for my next Dusty Attic project’? At the moment I’m making things that have a bit of purpose or a place, or I’m making things with someone in mind. I thought - I wouldn’t mind doing a large tag, something that I may be able to use as an embellishment on a layout or something in the future and it evolved from there.
I adore this photo of Cadence my granddaughter, she does and says the cutest of things, one word at the moment is 'shh’ when she see’s someone or one of the animals asleep and the aim of were that finger lands is a bit off and it ends up irght up her nose.
As you can imagine she spends a fair bit of time with me, it’s like her second home here and she goes to bed no trouble at all. The only thing is that I also have friends and family that pop in a fair bit too and once she goes for a sleep or nap neither Erin (her Mummy) or I want this little active toddler woken.
Somehow the tag evolved into a doorknob hanger.

Tin Man ATC

Where on earth did February go??? I'm sure one of these days I'll get time to do a longer post and let you know about life in the Underwood household.

But for now it's Dusty Attic DT sharing.

Here's my ATC for this month.

I really enjoyed this month’s theme, "Industrial", it was about time I got my hands well and truly dirty with creative products.
The first thing I thought of when I seen the theme was, ‘Metal’. It looks a little Steampunk-ish, but that’s still part of Industrial inspiration, right! I usually try and stick to the boundaries of an ATC back, but I couldn't resist going past the edges in this case because I didn't want to lose too much of my Tin Man and since creating the ATC I’ve decided, like one of our DT girls with last month’s ATC, use it for a future piece of art.

Tim Holtz stamp – Creative Muse
Silver embossing powder, dictionary script and watch parts.



I embossed the Mini Gates with black embossing powder and while the powder was still hot I sprinkled in some patina coloured embossing powder. Making sure not to keep the heat gun too close or on a paticular spot for too long. The gate is tiny and very fine and will burn easily if your not careful. I wanted it to looked like an old wrought iron gate that had seen better days, even vandalised by someone trying to get to whats behind it.



The umbrella was a little fiddly but I love working on tiny detail.


I used a combination of the chipboard cogs from Dusty and tiny watch parts from my stash.


I hope this inspires you to get your hands dirty and do a little creating soon.
