Engaged

Boy oh boy, how the time flies!!. Sharing another  layout , using the beautiful Vintage Artistry - Sky collection from 49 and Market

We had an advert on the T.V here in Australia a few years ago {quite a few year ago 😁} for Sarah Lee, a cake and pastry line available in supermarkets. Part of their catch phrase was something like 'layer, upon layer'. When trying to describe what I've done to create this layout, that phrase came to mind.

It's just what I do when putting together most of my layouts. I layer, I tuck, I play. I work out where I want my photo and pop a tiny bit of repositionable double sided tape to the back of it so I can easily remove it until I'm happy with the layers behind it. I usually always mat my photo on card stock, quite often white and then the tape goes behind that.

Quite a few of 49 and Markets stamps have text or words as part of them. When needing a word I'll flick through my collection to see if there is words I can use. In this case I've stamped the word 'Together' over one of the tickets from the Vintage Artistry Sky - Nouveau Ephemera Stack. Then I've cut the word in a strip afterwards.

Captured Moments

Hi again. A double layout this time using  49 and Market's Vintage Artistry - Shore 12x12 collection. The boys get a look in this week with photos scrapped from one of our summer holidays a few years ago. The collection is perfect for all those fishing photos you may have stashed away.
⮙ Lets talk about the new rub-ons. I'm loving them. They rub on with ease and have a slight translucent finish to them so you can see what's underneath them ever so slightly. They also rub over joins in paper and photos beautifully.

I painted and sanded the chippy pieces then used a print section of one of the stamps from the Springtime Harmony Stamp Set over the dry paint. I used the Vintage Artistry Sky - Washi Tape to cover some of the pieces also. Such a quick and easy way to cover things.
I adore those fish and check out the fishing net, both from the laser cut sheet in the pack!!!  I added a little curve to the back of the pieces and glued them on using a silicon type of glue so they hold their shape while still in my album.
