On a Sad note

My heart is aching for a good friend and her family. Michelle lost her family dog 'Rolly' to a snake bite today and I just found out through an email. Big *hugs* to Michelle, Don, Leonii and Wil. Rolly is in dog heaven now and he doesn't have to worry about storms any more. (Michelle shared a layout she did once of Rolly and the damage he did to the back door after he got scared during a storm and desperately wanted to get inside the house, You should of seen the damage, but we all seen the funny side). R.I.P Rolly
Our pets are part of our family and I would be devastated if we lost one.

Some Scrapping got done!

Sorry need to remove layout for publication.

Well Saturday night was a girls night in with a few creative buddies of mine, I actually got a page that I had started a while back finished and here is the result. The photo was taken of Erin and myself just before we left the hotel room to go see Christina in concert. The lovely Michelle G asked for an email of the image in a larger size after I shared it with a couple of the other girls I chat to regularly and with in a few minutes she emailed me the image back spiced up a little, in three different colors, this one being one of my favorites. Thanks Michelle.

B.W.O

Just happen to be talking to Kelsey yesterday and I happen to say how bad I was feeling that I had'nt updated my blog in a week. How each day I think about it, and one of the reasons I didn't start a blog earlier was that I felt I didn't need any extra pressure in my life.
She happen to mention B.O.W and I feel so much better. Click on the link and you will see what it is all about.
I started my blog, hopefully to share some of me, some of my creations and hopefully inspire others to create. Not to add pressure to my everyday.
So I will continue this fun journey without obligation and I hope you will all enjoy it with me.
Sending love your way.

Goodness Me!

How do you guys keep up with blogging, it's been a week since my last post!!! Gosh time flies. I don't have any new completed creations to share with you, so I thought I would share an old one but one of my favourites, done using one of the Collections arches and I did add some of my old stuff to the slide show.
I've had a great week, it flew past. I worked Wednesday, Natalie and I did some rearranging at the shop, so we had a full on day. I had to leave a note for the girls that come in on Thursday warning that the 'moving gremlins' had been again.
Thursday I managed to do 2 of the 4 Christmas card samples for a class at Scraptivate next month. I will share a sneak peek asap.
Max and I enjoyed a day of creating, the only trouble is, I might get to her place at around 9am ish, but the creative mojo takes forever to come in for me and I'm usually yelling at about 1pm, "it's not fair", I get real excited as well as frustrated because I will only get an hour or so after that to create, as it will be time to pick up Locky from school. We were lucky on Thursday night though, because I got to go back to Max's after dinner to complete my cards. Mind you we stayed up until about 1am. That hasn't happened to often since Max got back, we've been known to go much later in the past.
We had a huge class at the shop on Saturday, done by Max. I had to finish early to go to a wedding. Sunday was a lazy day. And today, well I'm supposed to be cleaning and organising the house,,, yer right. LOL,,, Have a great day.

Tagged and feeling Special

If you haven't notice on the side bar I got a Rockn' Girl Blogger nomination from Kelsey. Thanks! And right back at you. Does that mean I can do the same??? Well I'm going to, because I think these girls deserve one too,and not just because they are friends, :0)
Max. I also think
someone should nominate Max for and 'Inspirational Blogger Award'.
I think Viv's blog is looking fab too.
Other than that I worked all weekend and again today and I don't feel to bad at all. While at work I get all inspired and can't wait to get home to do some creating, but after doing a little grocery shop, cleaning up a bit and preparing dinner, you know all the Domestic Goddess duties, the inspiration has already left. So tonight I will add a few more stitches to a scarf I have been knitting all winter, you never know I might have it finished by next winter. *smile*.
Did a little creating (pic's above) with Max on Friday in the form of this embellished sander kit from Julie, from Collections, thanks for my pressie Julie. xx I just got a little carried away with it, while trying to get the creative juices flowing, but it was fun playing. To give you some idea of the size, as this image is a close up, the sanders (the bigger black pieces) are about 8cm x 2.5cm.

favourite things

I love Collections products which are produced by the very talented Julie Van Oosten here in Australia. I love playing with them and she has produced the most adorable little houses and birds. Here is a sneak peek of one little creation using them. You can also see this on display at Scraptivate.

Serious Gamers (not)

Here's my Layout for this fortnight's Dare on " How Dare You". The theme is Fantasy.
The story behind my layout is: When marrying Rick there must of been an unwritten vow somewhere in there saying that I would love, support and except his love of fantasy, books, movies, and especially games. He has passed that onto the kids now. The boys mainly play online games and a table game called Warhammer (they build and paint both the army and the miniature scenery for the game, hours and hours of work) even Erin has played it in the past. She loves a good fantasy book or movie now and has been known to spend a weekend in her PJ's with her nose in a good book.
Go take a look at the fantastic creations the other girls have done on the Dares "We Rock".
I'll be back soon to share some more creations and will add some more to my gallery over the weekend.
xx

Finally

I did it! And still saying "are you crazy"? "Like you don't already have enough to do". I have succumb to slight pressure from some of my creative friends and here I am in cyber space with my own blog.
I don't have a clue where it will take me or even what I am going to say or share, while on this path.
I hope to be able to share some of me and some of my creativity. So be kind to me while I get use to it all.
