Wander Album

Hi Audrey here to share one of the NEW Create-an-Album's with you. Start with the cover, this one is the Tall Chunky Album Cover, in Black. I covered the album front, leaving a black border showing using the Nature Study - Fusion paper and Nature Study - Soar from the Nature Study - 12x12 Coloured Foundations.
To create the actual embellishment on the front I used one of the clusters from the Nature Study - Cluster Kit and changed it just slightly including adding the title of my album with a Chipboard word from the Nature Study - Chipboard Word Set.
It made doing the cover really easy and there was a couple of options from this set I could have used. I also used one on the inside for a page also.
I've used the Create-an-Album Binder Mechanism 2 pack on the inside and the  Create-an-Album Binder Punch to punch holes in Nature Study - 6x8 papers for the inside pages.
I made mini layouts as I went to Create the pages inside the album.
With tucks, pockets and pages made using Nature Study - File Essentials and Ephemera Bits.
For the ephemera pieces that were big enough to use as pages I used the NEW CREATE-AN-ALBUM - Binder Punch for the side holes.

Old but not Forgotten

Hello once again. I was lucky enough to attend a scrapbooking retreat recently here in West Australia, with a bunch of like minded ladies who were all great to spend the weekend with. It was about 3 hours drive from Perth and so worth the drive. Apart from being surround by creative souls it was held on a fantastic Australian farm with such character and our hosts were so friendly. One of the things we were told we had to see was their car graveyard. Oh boy, it didn't disappoint.

This layout is of one of my favourite old cars there and 49 and Market's Vintage Artistry Nature Study was more then the perfect tones to match. Check out the lichen all over this car!! The colour, texture and surrounding bush match the Collection to a tee!!

I chose beautiful plaid design of Nature Study - Tattered Writings as my base, matted my photo on Spectrum Gardenia Solids - 8 (Black) then Nature Study - Colored Foundations 1. Then built a layered background of various papers, Ephemera, Laser Cut Elements to frame the photo.

The magnifying glass from the Nature Study - Ephemera Bits was a perfect addition to showcase a close up of the lichen growing on the car.
I used a selection of Nature Study - Laser Cut Mushrooms & Foliage, Ephemera Bits, Laser cut Elements, Chipboard Words etc to the right of the photo.
And more of the same to the left.
To finish off I've added Rub-on transfers, including rub-on words, tags tucked here and there and tabs.

You are Sunshine and Joy - Layout

Sunshine and joy,, that's what this layout is all about and Spectrum Gardenia brings the Joy out even more..
Hi Audrey here once again with another layout of my little muse, my granddaughter, Cadence.
I have to be honest I got a little giddy when I seen these frames in  the Spectrum Gardenia - Ephemera Bits, I love them. I used packaging from the Laser Cuts for the smaller floral prints behind the frames.
I added an extra score line on the fold flaps on the back of the envelope from the Spectrum Gardenia - Essential File Set. This gave it a bit more depth so I could make the floral arrangement inside using the awesome Laser cut Elements. I gave the flowers some extra shape (curves) and attached them using hot glue.
I wanted to make the butterflies on the Spectrum Gardenia Classics - Menagerie Medley paper pop a little so I found the same or similar ones from the Spectrum Gardenia - Butterfly Laser Cut Elements pack and mounted over the same butterfly on the page.
To finish off the page I added my title using the Spectrum Gardenia - Chipboard Words, added a floral trim and even flower for the dot on the 'i' and a trim of ric rac from Spectrum Gardenia - Essential Laser Cut Elements.
