Where Does the Time Go

Just a little bit of Lilac for your. I love this piece of paper from the new Vintage Artistry  Lilac range called Ingenue . I've only used the one piece of paper and set the photo off to the side so you can see the dainty little print and how pretty it is. The Lilac Mini Collection has the most perfect die cut sheets inside full of lilac goodies. Along with the doilies from the Vintage Artistry Lilac Ephemera Stack it made all the purple on the page pop. You can check it and lots more inspiration on the 49 and Market blog Here

This beautiful image was rare quiet moment captured of my granddaughter Cadence who will be 9yrs old soon.

I sanded the edge of the doily just a little to emphasis it a little more.

The washi tape is to die for.

I used it to decorate the bottom of the chipboard clock, below is how I did it.

Don't let those little thin waste bits left behind when you peel the strip off.

Once your happy with placement, sand off excess and sand all the edges of the chipboard to give that distressed look to the chippy.

You are Beautiful

Back again with another design team layout for 49 and Market. Teal is one of my most favourite colours and when I see the full collection of Vintage Artistry Colour - Sky and the teal on the embellishments  sheet I did a little happy. I matched it up with lace, Jute and  flowers from the beautiful collection 49 and Market has.

I love how so much thought goes into the designing of their product. You can't quite see it but I even used some card from their packaging, just because I love the print on it. Take note when your cutting the barcode from the 12x12 paper. I found that useful too. The text in the little index tabs on the the right side of the layout is actually from the the barcode strip.

There's even tiny seed beads on the embellishment sheet to place as if scattered on your layout.

Beautiful Moments

Hop on over to 49 and Market's blog and see all the inspiring creations the design team has put together. It was my turn recently and I got to play with the soft tones of Vintage Artistry in Colour - Coral

While your there checking things out, you've got to see the two NEW Collections 49 and Market have just released.... OMGiddy aunt!!
Here a little taste,,,,

Can't wait to get my hands on these delicious colours and all the goodies to go with them.

Here's my layout using Vintage Artistry in Colour - Coral
How could I not of used this the Coral collection!! The tones match perfectly with the lace dress Cadence is wearing.

I like using white cardstock for most of my layout and if using chipboard pieces, 99% of the time it will be white also. I used Vintage Artistry Coral - Je t'aime as my base page and then white card. Then ripped and layered the other patterned papers for the front. I absolutely love the 6x6 pads. That piece, centre front is from the pad,  Perfect little designs of the bigger sheets.

The designs from the Layered Embellishment sheet - Wander,  with it's collection of succulents and blossoms works really well with the tangerine in the flowers. It's one of my favourite sheets.

The little wish bubbles on the sheet are just the cutest. They look like little glittery paint splashes on your page, with out having to get the paint out. Did you know you can buy a full sheet of bubbles. Wishing Bubbles come in lots of colours to match most of the paper 49 and Market design. Very clever I think.
