Merry Christmas

Hi there here's my last post for 2020 for 49 and Market. I had to make it a Christmas one,,, trying to get in the spirit of the season and I hope you can too.

I used Vintage Artistry Noel for this page. As soon as I saw the poinsettia I knew I needed to have two pieces of the same paper so I could play with the petals of the flower and add depth by curving them, then applying some liquid silicone to keep the shape and height,  to the back and popping them back in place.I made some little loops with the jute and cut the center of the flower out, popped a curve to the back of it using a stylus tool and a push mat and stuck it all in place with silicone glue.

I love the little coils of wire in some of the flower packs, they add a whimsy look to the spray of holly and berries from the laser cut sheet in the Vintage Artistry Noel Collection pack. I applied a Christmas rub-on here or there to finish off the page.

My LA Boyz

Hi again with another double layout for 49 and Market. This one using paper and embellishments from the Vintage Artistry Sky Collection and mixing it up a little by add some glances of new Vintage Artistry Wedgewood Collection. The little bit of orange in the butterflies on the rub-ons and washi tape from Wedgewood just happened to match in with that lovely manicured beard my son has. It's that Irish/Viking connection we have 😀 I miss my boy so much. This him, Liam and his much treasured puppy Kylo.
As usual I layer and play with placement of extra pieces of paper behind the photos. I choose ephemera from the packs and tuck and poke into place until I am happy with it.

I am totally in love with the Wedgewood Rub-ons.. Easy to use, rub over a couple of layers of paper easily. Such vivid colours, (check out that butterfly!) on some and subtle on others. 💝

Two Hearts

I was very lucky to get a chance a couple of weekends ago to have a play with 49 and Markets NEW  Vintage Artistry - Wedgewood Collection designed by Katie Pertiet

I started by using the paper -  Breeze, from the 12x12 Collection Pack as my base,  it was perfect for this photo of my son and his fiancé. I'm so happy they have found love in this always changing crazy world of ours.

I added some foam mounting tape to the back of the photo to give it a little height on the page. But don't stick it down until close to the end. I positioned it and then placed the frames and papers behind until I'm happy. I only place sticky on the middle center on the back of the photo until I'm sure I'm finished,  so I can still tuck more tickets etc, from the ephemera pack behind it. Once happy I stick the photo down.

I also leave the positioning of the rub-ons until about last also. They are perfect to add that little extra to your page.

I know I’m always telling you about these rub-on’s, but I love them. The stitched hearts actually come separate on the sheet. I just overlapped them.

I adore the little seed beads and sequence on the laser cut sheet. Just like the real thing I sprinkle them here and there on my page and attach them using pva glue or for the beads I add a little curve to the back of them and attach them using a little silicone for height.49 and Market products used:⮝ Vintage Artistry Wedgewood 12x12 Collection Pack ⮝
